About Love Minus eighty
Imagine a world where death is not forever, you can be frozen and perhaps revived to be some ones bride (if you are pretty, can charm him enough, and he has enough money). A world that is run by social media, where you can broadcast every moment of your life if you choose, allowing 'screens' that people can use to pop into your apartment at any time to see what you are doing. Where you have a system that you wear all the time, to keep track of your money (fees are instantly and automatically removed) , can search up information on any person, or find any person at any given time (unless they have specifically put a block on).
In this world, we meet Mira, who is frozen and waiting in the dating center for some one to revive her and hopefully buy her as a wife. She wakes to have brief dates with men, despite the fact that she is gay. We meet Rob, who in the middle of his break up that is broadcast over social media by his ex, hits a jogger with his car who then ends up frozen in the dating center. With his high guilt Rob works long hours to save money to go visit her. We also meet Veronica, a dating coach who ironically has troubles with her own love life.
In this futuristic, but not unimaginable world, we follow these characters as they navigate through interpersonal relationships that are affected by the technology of the world.
